Yay! California ‘opens up’ June 15, with the removal of capacity limits and physical distancing requirements which means – fingers crossed! – summer will be a lot of fun with long overdue catchups with friends and family alike. With the exception of Pescadero Creek County Park which remains closed due to lingering unsafe conditions from last summer’s wildfire, all SMC Parks are open. The Volunteer Group Grant Program – Awardees

The San Mateo County Parks Foundation provides grants to volunteer groups that look after one or more San Mateo County Parks. Volunteers provide a variety of services on behalf of parks and park visitors, from pulling weeds and growing native plants to leading hikes and picking up litter. We are beyond grateful for the good work these groups and countless volunteers do to care for San Mateo County Parks.
