The Fun Continues with Coyote Nights at Coyote Point!
This family-friendly event is drawing more and more people who want to enjoy a relaxing summer evening with new friends to Coyote Point. There are three more Coyote Nights this summer, so don’t miss out!
One family rode their bikes over to Coyote Nights. Another brought a picnic dinner to enjoy in the park. One couple arrived from out of town and joined family members to celebrate their grandson’s birthday. Some people took advantage of the REI clinics while others just wanted to lay in a hammock listening to our DJ spin good tunes. All had a good time.
Your Spring Charitable Gifts at Work!
This week, the San Mateo County Parks Foundation made another gift to the San Mateo County Parks Department. Thanks to our wonderful donors, this gift of $151,826 allows several programs and projects to move forward. They include:
- Continuing to offer low-income, public transportation-dependent communities the opportunity to access our stunning parks through the County Park Shuttle. The Park Shuttle is a free weekend service with two routes that connects the communities of East Palo Alto, North Fair Oaks and Downtown Redwood City to two parks: Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve in Redwood City and Wunderlich Park in Woodside.

Land Acknowledgement
The San Mateo County Parks Foundation’s office is located on the ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush and Muwekma Ohlone peoples, the original inhabitants and land stewards of the San Francisco Peninsula. As guests, we recognize that we benefit from living, working and recreating here on their traditional homeland. We wish to pay our respects by acknowledging the ancestors, elders and future generations of caretakers of the Ohlone people.
Fundraising Priorities and Current Goals
In partnership with the San Mateo County Department of Parks, the Foundation raises funds to support projects, programs and volunteers for benefit parks and visitors.
We are committed to conserving and improving the quality of our county parks for current and future generations to enjoy.
