The Friends of San Pedro Valley Park welcome Dr. Salvador Jorgensen, Assistant Professor at CSU Monterey Bay for a fascinating Zoom presentation on Tues, Sept 24th at 7pm. He will discuss the Great White Shark, the apex predator of oceanic waters, its movement, population dynamics, and ecological interactions.

Coastal Cleanup Day is a wonderful annual event for the community to come together to clean up our beautiful coasts and beloved spaces. There are so many ways to get involved in organized events this Saturday, Sept 21.

Stroll along the Bay Trail to clean up #CoyotePoint from 9am-12pm. Sign up in advance:

Or, our friends at the Pacific Beach Coalition have cleanups in Pacifica, Daly City, HMB, Montara and Foster City locations in the morning, followed by their first annual Beach Party At Linda Mar Beach from 10:30-1:30 to celebrate!
