Spring Wildflowers & Protecting Biodiversity at Edgewood Park: Video

San Mateo County’s Edgewood Park & Natural Preserve is known for its spring wildflowers and extraordinary biodiversity. Learn more about the efforts behind the preservation and restoration of Edgewood’s beautiful native species.

Friends of Edgewood partnered with Creekside Science and San Mateo County Parks to restore Edgewood’s non-native grasslands to their former floral beauty and species diversity by getting rid of weeds and promoting greater cover of native plants.

The San Mateo County Parks Foundation is thrilled to have partnered with the Friends of Edgewood to produce this video, which was made possible through a grant from the National Environmental Education Foundation. We are grateful for their support.
