How do I update my payment method on my recurring donation?
Like most nonprofits, we use a third-party donation processing platform (ours is Network for Good). You will be logging into Network for Good to make your changes. We cannot do this on your behalf because it requires your login credentials.
Follow the steps in this “how to” article. You’ll be choosing to update the payment method, which is outlined in step #3.
Navigate to the donation page on our website, which is where you’ll need to start.
How do I stop my recurring donation?
When circumstances change and you’d like to stop your recurring donation, you have two options.
You can either login to your Network for Good account (our third party donation processing platform) and follow the instructions outlined in step #3 of this “how to” article.
Or, in this instance, we can do this on your behalf. Please send your request by email to leslie@supportparks.org.
Am I eligible for thank you gifts if I donate through my donor advised fund or use my IRA?
Using donor advised funds and IRA qualified charitable distributions are a popular way to donate, however tax regulations do not allow us to provide you with thank you gifts such as parking passes or tickets to paid events. Likewise, we will send you a thank you letter for your donation but it will not serve as an official tax receipt – this is provided by the institution holding your donor advised fund or IRA.
Do you share my personal information with any third party marketing companies?
No! We do not believe in trading on your personal information and we do not sell any of our donor’s data to any third party sources. We use the information you have provided to us only for our internal uses related to processing your donation or for our communications with you. We take great strides to safeguard your data.
