You can help inspire people to care for, learn about and enjoy our local parks.
In partnership with the San Mateo County Department of Parks, the Foundation raises funds to support projects, programs and volunteers to benefit our parks: recreational, environmental and educational programs and accessibility, enhancement and maintenance projects.
When you donate, you will become a member of the San Mateo County Parks Foundation and support our efforts to conserve and improve the quality of our county parks for current and future generations to enjoy.
Donations at the following levels receive:
Redwood – Support our parks with an annual gift of $500 or more and receive our San Mateo County Parks newsletter (published three times per year), invitations to special Foundation events and an annual parking pass for San Mateo County Parks.
Tidepool – Support our efforts with at least $125 annually and receive the newsletter, two free day-parking passes to San Mateo County Parks and special invitations to Foundation events.
Meadow – Donate at least $50 annually and receive the newsletter, plus two free day-parking passes for San Mateo County Parks.
Wildflower – Donate at least $25 annually to stay informed about local parks and projects through our San Mateo County Parks newsletter, published three times per year.
You can set recurring donations and/or earmark your donation to support a specific project or program on our donation page.
Recognition of gifts is done in accordance with the County’s approved Donor Recognition Guidelines. The Foundation does not manage the projects directly. The San Mateo County Department of Parks is responsible for the design, permitting, contracting and maintenance of the projects.
