Dress is festive outdoor casual – layers and comfortable shoes. Plenty of parking, but limited ADA parking is available. If you require ADA parking, please reserve in advance with Michele@supportparks.org to be sure we save you a parking spot.

1998 | San Mateo County Parks Foundation is established
1999 | Foundation makes first gift to San Mateo County Parks: $68,000
2000 | Foundation donates $125,000 to help replace playground
equipment at Flood County Park
2001 | Foundation publishes San Mateo County Parks: A Remarkable Story of
Extraordinary Places and the People who Built Them
2003 | A foundation-secured grant of $1.6 million funds acquisition and
planning for Mirada Surf
2005 | Foundation-sponsored Tour de Peninsula riders raise nearly $20,000 for Bicycle Sunday
2006 | Foundation provides matching grant for the planning phase of
extending Crystal Springs Trail south of Highway 92
2011 | The Bill and Jean Lane Education Center opens at Edgewood, the
culmination of a decade of planning, fundraising, and project management
2013 | Foundation donates $388,000 to improve the western shoreline
promenade at Coyote Point
2015 | Foundation starts the youth environmental education field trips program
2017 | Foundation launches Coyote Nights at Coyote Point in partnership with REI
