    Friends of Edgewood/Spring Wildflower Hike – Clarkia Trailhead

    Edgewood is known for profuse spring wildflowers and rich biodiversity. Join a Friends of Edgewood docent for a free spring wildflower hike where you will explore Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve’s serpentine grasslands and oak woodlands. You might see dozens of species of flowers in a single day! Their hikes vary according to what’s in bloom. They offer longer hikes geared toward adults and older children and shorter kid-friendly hikes. You must register in advance at friendsofedgewood.eventbrite.com. Space is limited. Hike details and meeting location will be emailed to registered hikers before the event.

    Friends of San Pedro Valley Park/Naturalist Walk

    San Pedro Valley Park 600 Oddstad Blvd, Pacifica, CA

    This one and one half-hour nature stroll with J.R. Blair has a limit of 15 attendees.  J.R. will discuss anything interesting that catches his eye, whether plant, animal, insect, etc.  Please note that this walk will be more of a snail-paced stroll than a hike. We will be stopping frequently to talk about the plants, animals, insects, and fungi that we encounter along the way. Please register in advance.
