Join a Friends of Edgewood docent for a free spring wildflower hike where you will explore Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve’s serpentine grasslands and oak woodlands. You might see dozens of species of flowers in a single day! Their hikes vary according to what’s in bloom. They offer longer hikes geared toward adults and older children and shorter kid-friendly hikes. You must register in advance at friendsofedgewood.eventbrite.com. Space is limited. Friends of San Pedro Valley Park/Naturalist Walk
San Pedro Valley Park 600 Oddstad Blvd, Pacifica, CAThis one and one half-hour nature stroll with J.R. Blair has a limit of 15 attendees. J.R. will discuss anything interesting that catches his eye, whether plant, animal, insect, etc. Please note that this walk will be more of a snail-paced stroll than a hike. We will be stopping frequently to talk about the plants, animals, insects, and fungi that we encounter along the way. Please register in advance.
